Letters such as A, B, D, O, P and R contain enclosed islands. The bridge engine locates those islands, chooses a short route to the surrounding material and cuts an adjustable connection. Use horizontal or vertical-only placement when the cutting direction matters.

The SVG contains vector rectangles produced from the stencil mask. It is suitable for many simple cutting workflows, though detailed professional jobs may benefit from additional path cleanup.

What do stencil bridges do?

Bridges connect enclosed areas such as the middle of a letter O to the surrounding material so the centre does not fall out.
